See us on the BBC: UK Tights on the BBC NewsUK Tights was formed in September 2005 and was founded by myself, Dawn Barber and my husband Jonathan. We felt that there was a genuine gap in the market for the supply of good quality hosiery at the right price. We also felt that there was little choice out there for women. Ladies of all shapes and sizes deserved to have a great choice of hosiery and their needs were just not being met.
We decided to start up our own company and give it our best shot. Initially we worked out of our dining room at home and it was just me for a while. Jonathan maintained his regular job as a Senior Systems Development Engineer and Senior Java Programmer. He was a contractor and earned good money so this allowed me to work at the business and not have to take a big salary. Jonathan joined on a full time basis in 2007 as the workload became so heavy that we couldn’t carry on with just me and there was so much programming work to be done that it made good sound business sense for him to join the company and put in all the skills and expertise that he has on this front. My skills lie in the buying and selling of products as I have previous experience in both fields. I was a buyer for 4 years and I have 20 years selling experience. My love of the customers and products that we offer, gives me an edge over customer care I hope.
Delivery Information
All goods are posted by first class Royal Mail post. Orders placed before 15:00/3.00pm will usually be dispatched the same day depending on how busy we are and subject to items being in stock
UK Tights delivers to anywhere in the world. We estimate that the delivery will take approximately:-
UK - 1 to 4 working days (dependent on your local postal delivery service, usually next day!
EEC - usually within 3 to 5 working days
USA & Canada - 4 to 12 working days
Rest of World - 1 to 2 weeks

Tightplease.co.uk was born out of frustration at the inconvenience of going to the shops to buy tights, stocking, hold ups and socks. What is the point of going to buy a pair of tights for a few pounds paying at least as much in petrol and parking? only to find the shop didn't shock the product you wanted!
Since then tightsplease has grown into one of the largest online hosiery retailers in the world. Delivery Charges
We charge a flat £1.95 for UK deliveries and £8 for overseas delivery no matter how large the order.
We also now provide the additional delivery service, were your pay a one off payment of £3.50 this then allows you to receive Free Delivery for any orders made within the next 12 months. Simply click on this option when you are in the checkout section.
